Our history starts with five wise Italian men. Starting a fishing organisation, where they used an alternative fishing technique including compasses. Later, differentiating themselves by developing the largest clothing brand in Europe. So, again the compass pointed in the right direction. The Italien men had one important philosophy:

“Soon the science will not only be able to slow down the ageing of the cells, soon the science will fix the cells to the state and so we will become eternal. Only accidents, crimes, wars, will still kill us but unfortunately, crimes, wars, will multiply. I love chess!”

We are proud to say that we continue the journey, by being the wisest committee on campus. We have the responsibility to organize events that develop the brains, in comparison to a lot of other activities. We

earned our position in the chess board, by beating “the chess king of Nyenrode” , who is still anonymous.

Playing chess on a spectacular place with chess pieces filled with booze, results in an event that you will never forget. Combining the smartest on campus and alcohol ultimately leads to the wisest evenings, this event is quarterly organized by the committee. This event is only organized for members of the chess committee where only 16 spots are open. Youmust fight hard to get this special spot!
