This association is called Nijenrodiaanse Handelsvereniging “De Zilveren Rijder”, also known as the largest student-run investment portfolio of Europe. The task of the board of this committee is split in two: making sure the portfolio of stock investments beats the AEX index each year and secondly making sure our active members increase their wisdom on investment decisions. Beating the AEX index has been achieved for 21 consecutive years by maintaining a defence investment strategy and focusing on diversification within the stock portfolio. The board actively cooperates with market analysts that use their expertise to adjust the portfolio

continuously. These market analysts are elected by the board. Moreover, our shareholders get to enjoy investment-related events while they live on campus and are updated on quarterly results in “Den Silvervloot”.
