Nyenrode Studs

Welcome to Nyenrode Studs! We are a team of five enthusiastic students at Nyenrode Business University who are dedicated to charitable causes and strive to make a positive impact on our community. Nyenrode Studs is a new committee of the association De Nieuwe Compagnie van Verre, affiliated with Nyenrode Business University. Our story began in 2022 when a group of students was asked to participate in the Swim to Fight Cancer Stichtse Vecht. Although the committee did not officially exist at the time and the participation was not optimally organized, the students still managed to raise over €15,000. However, Luuk Jonk and Joep Toebes realized that with better organization and perhaps an official committee to coordinate this optimally, even more money could be raised. This insight led to the initiative to establish an official committee. Our goal is to give back to the community. On the one hand, we focus on local initiatives, such as organizing events specifically aimed at Breukelen. On the other hand, we aim to raise funds for larger charitable causes, as we have done with the Swim to Fight Cancer. Additionally, it is important for us to ensure the continuity of the committee, so that it continues to exist every year and improves in the events we organize. After an intensive and effective team-building weekend in 2025, we officially founded the committee. Our team consists of five students from Nyenrode Business University.
