Nyenrode United Committee

The Nyenrode United Committee (NUC) aims to create intercultural connections that last a lifetime by actively tackling integration at the campus. NUC is a committee for ALL students on campus. NUC is responsible for ensuring international students have Buddy to rely on the first weeks to get used to the cultural change by studying in the Netherlands. Furthermore, NUC is responsible for dinner parties and cultural celebrations. For example, Chinese New Year, Indian Holi Fest, Dutch Nights, and Dia De Los Muertos.

NUC is all about sharing knowledge and sharing experiences. Therefore, the committee works together with other actors, Friends of NUC and Program management to improve the integration issues and cultural barriers at the campus. And being part of NUC is an experience itself. We want to help that every student feels like home here on campus, because it is our home. We are overcoming our cultural barriers to organize events while being a beacon of trust to other international students. Moreover, integration is a two-way relationship. Therefore, we have to make sure Dutch students are included in NUC events and also show some Dutch heritage to international students!
